- ➤ The Idaho Public Utilities Commission approved new rates that took effect Jan. 1 for Idaho Power and Intermountain Gas, with Idaho Power customers facing a 7.48% increase and about a $12.13 rise on the average monthly bill, while Intermountain Gas residential rates rose by $2.45 plus a customer charge adjustment.
