  • Students at Idaho colleges say budget talks could cut tuition aid from the LAUNCH program that supports over 6,000 students in high-demand fields. Lawmakers and student leaders debate a $10 million adjustment that will be used only if program growth falls short—leaving questions over future support.  KIVI

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • After recent storms, avalanche warnings have been issued for several mountain ranges & backcountry adventurers should stay alert as fresh snow settles on older layers. The alerts expire today and may continue into the weekend if conditions remain unstable.  KIVI

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA issued a recall for 'Great Value' cottage cheese on Wednesday after pasteurization concerns emerged in products sold at Walmart stores in 24 states (including local outlets).
