- ➤ Pastor Barry McGarrah from Crossroads Church safely returned home after his group was stranded in the Middle East when regional flights stopped — they rebooked flights from Amman to Istanbul on March 1 and landed in Seattle on March 2, with McGarrah calling the trip miraculous. KIVI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Boise State University proposed merging its School of Public Service with the College of Education while closing the College of Innovation and Design; the restructuring will take effect in July if approved by the State Board of Education. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A fourth-grade student from Twin Falls helped push a bill to make hunting the official state sport in Idaho.
