- ➤ Nampa Mayor’s Teen Council planted eight pear trees at West Park as part of the Memorial Tree and Bench Program to honor Mayor Rick Hogaboam, who died during a town hall earlier this month. A memorial service is held today at 5 p.m. at the Ford Idaho Center. KIVI

- ➤ The Idaho House approved a $5.6B health and human services budget, cutting spending by about 6%, and sent it to governor Brad Little’s desk on Monday; it also passed a $16.4M mental health bill & rejected a $35.7M public health enhancement measure. KTVB

- ➤ Developers have begun demolishing the former Edwards Cinema to clear space for Sugar District — a mixed-use project that may include multi-family housing. The lot has been vacant since the cinema closed and city approval came last year. KIVI
