- ➤ Idaho House and Senate Leadership announced the creation of the Idaho Department of Government Efficiency D.O.G.E. Task Force to cut wasteful spending—focusing on agency consolidation, state employee travel and restructuring government roles. The task force formed under House Bill 364 will begin work immediately to boost accountability and operational efficiency. KBOI
- ➤ The Idaho Commission for Libraries approved up to $300,000 for staff to prepare in case federal grant funds are lost—this loss could risk the Idaho Talking Books service used by about 3,200 people.
