FARE Idaho will host a ribbon cutting for The Farmhouse Front Porch at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at 2124 S.
Horton Street in Nampa—festivities will continue from noon to 6 p.m. with over 40 local farmers and food crafters featuring live bluegrass from The Pyles Brothers.

Idaho House and Senate Leadership announced the creation of the Idaho Department of Government Efficiency D.O.G.E.
Task Force to cut wasteful spending—focusing on agency consolidation, state employee travel and restructuring government roles. The task force formed under House Bill 364 will begin work immediately to boost accountability and operational efficiency.
The Idaho Commission for Libraries approved up to $300,000 for staff to prepare in case federal grant funds are lost—this loss could risk the Idaho Talking Books service used by about 3,200 people.
The commission received notification of one month's funding for the current fiscal year, but its funding for next fiscal year remains uncertain.

Nampa first responders have seen a rise in teen suicide calls that has added stress to their work.
A local mental health support program is stepping in as the 988 Crisis Hotline now handles over 2,000 calls each month (helping those in crisis).
