- ➤ Idaho Governor Brad Little vetoed part of House Bill 482 on Monday to keep the state's emergency funds ready for unexpected issues — such as border security and drug crises. He said moving funds from the Emergency Fund to the General Fund from July 1 to June 30 would slow Idaho's ability to respond fast to emergencies. KIVI
- ➤ The Nampa Police K-9 unit received an $8,000 check from the Lizard Butte Kennel Club at its annual dog show held at O’Connor Field in Caldwell on Friday. The funds will support further training for the unit. Idaho Press
