Good morning, Nampa.

Treasure Valley church volunteers are collecting needed supplies for Pacific islands after a super typhoon hit the region last week (local relief efforts will send donations from our community to those affected).

Nampa City Council approved a new recreation addition at West Park featuring horseshoe pits, cornhole, and bocce ball courts for fitness fans.

Community members can soon enjoy the updated play area.

Gov. Brad Little ordered flags lowered to half-staff throughout Idaho to honor former Gov. Dirk Kempthorne, who died Friday in Boise.

The flags will remain lowered until after his memorial service as his family asks for privacy while they grieve.

Boise State junior offensive lineman Kage Casey was drafted by the Broncos in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft—he was the 111th overall pick and played 942 snaps last season.

His accolades at BSU add more Idaho ties to the NFL.

Before its spring game Saturday, Boise State football paused to honor local public servants by holding a moment of silence for former Gov. Dirk Kempthorne and Nampa Mayor Rick Hogaboam (recognized for their service).

Their legacies continue to shape local leadership.
