Today, Caldwell held its first fully staffed Fire Station 8 push-in ceremony at 8 a.m. and Zoo Boise hosted an adaptive after-hours event for visitors with disabilities—marking a shift from volunteer service.
Nampa will host its 3rd annual Cinco De Mayo Street Festival from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Nampa—featuring live music, food, and cultural activities for families.

Idaho voters will head to the polls on May 20 for a consolidated election that features local races, school bonds, and district levies—with no statewide or federal offices on the ballot.
Early voting will run from May 5 to May 16, absentee ballot requests are due by May 9, and polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
