- ➤ Tree Town Tennis has announced a five-year plan to build a free indoor facility with six courts in Meridian that will open in 2030 to give local players a weather-proof place to play; the nonprofit aims to raise five million dollars to fund construction and support both adaptive and community tennis + boost regional tournaments. - ➤ AAA said 274,000 Idahoans are expected to travel for Memorial Day weekend and advised drivers to leave on Thursday, May 22 before noon or on Memorial Day before 2:00 p.m. to avoid afternoon slowdowns—domestic flight prices increased 2% while hotel stays rose 8% but rental cars became 8% cheaper compared to last year.
