After today, the Star Card pop-up office moves from DMV headquarters on Chinden to the Ada County Motor Vehicle Office in Garden City—residents needing a Star Card are encouraged to act before the change. - ➤ Idaho submitted its waiver request to USDA on May 16 to ban soda, energy drinks and candy from SNAP benefits as part of HB109 signed by Gov. Brad Little in April + the change is meant to raise nutrition standards and lower chronic illness among Idahoans. The state joins a few others in asking for the update and now awaits USDA’s decision + a review is expected soon. KTVB
