- ➤ At a recent meeting, Nampa City Council restored $233,650 to Valley Regional Transit after concerns that cutting the funds would jeopardize a $560,000 Federal Transit Administration grant and on-demand service for more than 1,000 daily riders; VRT CEO Elaine Clegg said set-route ridership increased by 22.1% with schedule improvements. The council will decide on funding for the 2026 fiscal year in a future meeting to ensure continued transit support for residents. KTVB
