Today, Friends of the Boise Public Library hold a June Book Sale at the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. while Nampa High School hosts the Special Olympics Idaho State Summer Games with a kickoff at 4 p.m., and free concerts return to Kleiner Park tonight with 'Dark Desert Highway' playing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.—the summer series continues every other Friday until August 15.

Kuna High School Wind Ensemble returned from Anaheim where over 40 students performed in the Disney Imagination Campus program and recorded music in a professional Disney studio under a Disney sound engineer—students played classical and cinematic pieces and gained firsthand experience with professional scoring.

The city of Nampa began chip sealing several roads this week to extend their lifespan by 7 to 10 years.
