- ➤ Late Saturday night, Idaho State Police said a blue 1999 Ford Escort driven by a 59-year-old from Boise failed to stop at the Riverside Road—State Highway 55 intersection near Nampa and struck a northbound silver 2025 Toyota Tundra, forcing a gray 2022 Honda Civic to swerve—resulting in the Escort driver dying and passengers from the Ford and Tundra receiving minor treatment as emergency crews closed the road for about two and a half hours.
