CRIME NEWS

  • Nampa Police are urgently searching for endangered missing person Bobby Muchow, an 85-year-old last seen wearing a blue button-up short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown slippers, and a baseball cap while driving a 2004 red Ford F150 towing a 14-foot black trailer—his family fears he may be suffering from memory loss and lack of essential medication.  KIVI
  • Late last night, police, fire personnel and paramedics in Caldwell responded when a 68-year-old man threatened to jump from a third-floor balcony and acted violently, and after he was restrained he lost consciousness and later died—Nampa Police Department is investigating the incident.  KBOI

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Idaho state employee health insurance premiums will rise 8% this year because healthcare and prescription drug costs have increased. The Department of Administration said monthly costs will go up by $16 for common PPO plans, $4 for high-deductible plans and $50 for traditional plans (affecting over 100,000 state employees).  KTVB
