Expo Idaho Director Bob Batista says Biden Administration funds helped shape the plan which will host over 20 events a month including soccer games and concerts to boost local tourism and benefit Garden City and the Treasure Valley area. - ➤ On Tuesday, July 8, just after midnight, 300 National Guard airmen from the 124th Fighter Wing returned home from their overseas deployment in support of combat operations in the U.S. Central Command area—Idaho National Guard officials commended the airmen's professionalism and thanked families for their support. - ➤ City officials in Nampa are asking residents for input on three proposals to improve safety along Northside Boulevard after records show 305 crashes from 2020 to 2024—each plan adds a traffic light at 7th Street and 7th Avenue, ADA improvements, a median on a curve, sidewalk upgrades, and costs between $5.7 million and $8.1 million.
