Good morning, Nampa.

A 19-year-old Nampa man driving a 2013 Honda Accord struck a 1999 Pontiac on Interstate 184 near milepost 1 in Boise early Saturday at 3:20 a.m.—he was taken to a local hospital while Idaho State Police investigate a speeding incident that may have involved alcohol.

During a Thursday budget meeting, Nampa City Council narrowly approved using forgone taxes to cover shortfalls—citing what they described as a legislative disservice—to help maintain the city’s fiscal discipline.
