Good morning, Nampa.

Smoke from the Cram Fire near Madras has made the sky hazy while 932 firefighters work to control the blaze.

The fire burned 95,748 acres and is 49% contained, and crews will build fire breaks—releasing some teams as the state fire marshal adjusts its response.

Health officials warn that wildfire smoke from fires burning in the Northwest can harm lungs and cause coughing, wheezing, and headaches—if AQI readings exceed 100, residents are advised to limit time outdoors—and people with heart or lung issues should use clean-air spaces.
