- ➤ Nampa Parks and Recreation announced that the 38th Nampa Festival of the Arts will take place at Lakeview Park on August 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on August 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature over 200 artisan booths, live entertainment, food concessions and a children’s art area, with free admission and parking. - ➤ The city of Nampa will host an informational meeting on Aug. 11 for prospective candidates ahead of Election Day on Nov. 4 — the event will offer guidance on the requirements for running for office. Idaho Press
