- ➤ An A-10 Warthog finished its final flight and touched down at Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa today as part of the museum's Global War on Terror expansion. The aircraft retired after years of service and will be featured when the expansion opens on Sept 12. KIVI
- ➤ Nampa’s Warhawk Air Museum is getting ready to add the A-10 Warthog as a permanent exhibit and is modifying the aircraft by removing its 30 mm gun—officials say the change is needed to fit its new section on the global war on terror. - ➤ Howard Rynearson, the Payette County GOP leader, is collecting over 70,000 signatures for a citizen initiative to remove the state's 6% grocery tax+ the measure would also end the $155 grocery tax credit and needs support from 6% of voters in at least 18 legislative districts.
