Plateau Avenue in Caldwell on Monday afternoon—one minor escaped after calling 911 while the family’s pets died and two firefighters sustained minor injuries as investigators work to find the cause and advise residents to avoid the area.  KBOI

  • DNA expert Greg Hampikian said Bryan Kohberger’s plea deal left unresolved questions about the origin of DNA found on the murder weapon and how federal authorities used genealogy databases, fueling public concern over privacy.  KIVI

  • Nampa City Council unanimously rejected a proposal for a levy override that would have raised taxes $6 per $1 million needed to cover deferred maintenance on Ford Idaho Center for its planned transfer to the College of Western Idaho—no date has been set for further review.  KIVI
