CRIME NEWS

  • An Oregon man pleaded guilty to manslaughter after his truck crossed the center line on April 18 and fatally struck a bus carrying a community college softball team—killing a 19-year-old Nampa player and the team’s head coach while injuring others—with additional assault and driving charges and a sentencing set for Sept. 11.  KTVB

  • Gemma Arts will host its 4th annual Opera by the River event, a free family-friendly concert under the stars, on August 23 at 7 p.m. at the Star Riverhouse— they previewed the program today with a performance of the Pearl Fishers duet.  KTVB
