  • Today, crews are closing lanes overnight on SH-44 between Linder Rd and Hwy 55 as they resurface the road while more than 175 kids from the Boys and Girls Club receive new backpacks from Panda cares, and Órale will perform the final show of the Star Summer Concert Series at the Star River House at 7 p.m.—drive carefully for the lane closures.  KIVI
  • Mason Creek Flower Farm in Nampa invites families to pick their own bouquets from rows of flowers and see farm animals on the 5-acre property, which is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Owner Jerilynn McRae said she began the farm six years ago as a vegetable operation and later expanded it with a pick-your-own garden at a new Franz Witte location—offering the same popular varieties.  KIVI
  • The 23rd Annual Warbird Round-Up is held today at Warhawk Air Museum and will run tomorrow, August 24, where thousands from the Pacific Northwest are expected to visit.   • Idaho Health officials confirmed a third measles case in an unvaccinated child from Bonner County on Wednesday—there is no known link to the earlier cases in Kootenai and Bonneville Counties.
