  • At the Nampa Farmer's Market on Saturday, the Bob Wagner Memorial Hot Pepper Eating Challenge honored its late founder, Bob Wagner. Nine contestants battled rapidly eating hot peppers for cash prizes—$300 for first, $200 for second, and $100 for third.  KBOI

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • The Idaho Transportation Department and Road Safety Office reported that 88 people died on Idaho roads during the 100 deadliest days from Memorial Day to Labor Day—23 of 60 traffic victims did not wear seat belts and nearly one-quarter were motorcyclists.  KTVB

SPORTS NEWS

  • On Saturday night, Dylan Riley scored five touchdowns as Boise State beat Air Force 49-37 with a total of 592 yards. Riley had 171 rushing yards and made a 75-yard reception that helped seal the win.  KTVB
