HEALTH NEWS

  • Albertsons recalled five deli items on Saturday because they may contain listeria and advised consumers to throw them away or return them for a full refund. The recalled items include ready-to-eat pasta salads with a bowtie pasta ingredient from Nate’s Fine Foods sold at multiple stores — no illnesses have been reported.  KTVB

SPORTS NEWS

  • Boise State defeated Appalachian State 47-14 Saturday night as Maddux Madsen threw for four touchdowns and set a career best with 321 yards — both Omarion McCoy and Boen Phelps returned interceptions for touchdowns. Latrell Caples caught five passes for 89 yards while freshman Quinton Brown scored his first touchdown on a key fourth-and-5 conversion.  KTVB
