  • Local sisters Bella and Gracie Hall will premiere their debut film Misophonia at The Egyptian Theatre on November 22—filmed completely in Boise over 18 days and after a successful film festival run.  KTVB

  • Jan Pedersen, 85, celebrated her birthday today by completing a tandem skydive with her granddaughter—continuing her adventurous life after losing her husband and grandson during the pandemic.  KTVB

SPORTS NEWS

  • Viewers can catch the first basketball rivalry between Boise State and Idaho since 2014 live on KTVB Channel 7 — the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Oct. 17 at Idaho Central Arena in downtown Boise.  KTVB
  • On Friday night, teams in the 6A Southern Idaho Conference will play in key matchups as Eagle meets Kuna at 7 p.m. to vie for a division crown, while contests in other classes will determine postseason positions—intensifying the race with only two weeks left on the schedule.  KTVB
  • After a tough 28-7 loss to Notre Dame, Boise State is preparing to host New Mexico on Saturday at Albertsons Stadium at 7:45 p.m. MT—head coach Danielson defended quarterback Maddux Madsen while noting that injured Matt Lauter may return and that New Mexico’s new coach Jason Eck is leading a refreshed team.  KTVB
  • The Seattle Kraken open their NHL season today with over 70 games set to air free over-the-air in Boise and Twin Falls, reaching fans in Treasure Valley and Magic Valley. Viewers can watch locally on KTVB (KTFT) and on cable and national networks.  KTVB
