Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced a multistate settlement with Snap Finance that will cancel about $3.4 million in lease payments for 1,846 Idahoans and let them keep leased items, and requires clearer disclosures, return options, and bans misleading advertising (covers leases from 2017 through 2022).
Kimball Bridge work on Blaine Street in downtown Caldwell will continue into summer 2027 after slower demolition, utility conflicts, buried obstructions, and water issues; the city will maximize traffic flow and add an electronic reader board ahead of Winter Wonderland opening Friday, Nov. 20.
