Good morning, Nampa.

The 7Cares Idaho Shares drive began December 1 and will run until December 13 to collect donations and non-perishable food for local charities across the Treasure and Magic Valleys — contributions can be made online or at sites such as Fred Meyer in Nampa.

The drive will end with a live broadcast on KTVB Channel 7 at 8 a.m. December 13.

Downtown Nampa is festively decorated as the city officially starts the Christmas season—bringing holiday cheer to local residents.

The Idaho Transportation Department and Idaho State Police are launching their annual winter driving safety campaign to help drivers handle icy roads this season—officials say the campaign will include practical tips and updates on road conditions.

Pig Latin, located along the Greenbelt in Eagle, has quickly become one of the Treasure Valley’s most talked about dining experiences — its seasonal menu and handcrafted margaritas draw local diners — as the restaurant shows a playful yet sophisticated design.

NCAA basketball coach Tara VanDerveer will be the keynote speaker at The Change Make*Hers Gala on February 4 at Stueckle Sky Center — an event celebrating National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
