ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Idaho’s 2024 report showed 28,158 crashes and 219 deaths, while a AAA survey (with 93% of drivers warning that impaired driving is dangerous) indicated strong public backing for safety tech such as mandatory alcohol-impaired prevention systems in new cars. KBOI
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ American Mile, a Southern rock band from Los Angeles, will headline the Idaho Potato Drop, the state's biggest New Year's Eve celebration, which will be broadcast live in over 200 countries in just weeks. - ➤ High winds swept across Magic Valley Wednesday, prompting dozens of emergency tree removals. Crews in Kimberly, including three teams from Elevation Tree Service (handling a record number of calls), worked all day to secure falling trees and prevent damage. KIVI
