  • KTVB News has won two Regional Edward R Murrow Awards for its three-part series on violent extremism in Idaho and its 10 p.m. newscast on storm systems. The honors recognize outstanding local journalism in the northwestern U.S. region and applaud work from team members including reporter Justin Corr, photographer Troy Colson + the late newscast crew.  KTVB
  • At a recent Nampa City Council meeting, three local pastors raised concerns that the Canyon County Pride Festival scheduled for June 8th at Lakeview Park may lead to increased traffic and potential security issues. Festival organizers said they will cover their own security costs and will designate an area for protesters to help keep the event safe.  KTVB

  • Governor Brad Little said he delivered $400 million in tax cuts this legislative session but warned that future revenue might suffer as the economy slows. He will visit Washington this week to highlight Idaho’s efficient Medicaid and SNAP programs + defend the state’s track record with federal funds.  KTVB
